How the calculation works

Enter the required parameters and submit the form. The calculator validates the values, performs the calculation on the server and returns a detailed result.

The calculation is processed for the current HTTP request and does not require registration.

How tire sizes are compared

Overall diameter = rim diameter × 25.4 + 2 × tire width × aspect ratio / 100. The calculator then compares diameter, circumference, ground-clearance change and speedometer effect.

Example

A larger rim can still keep overall wheel diameter close to stock when paired with a lower-profile tire.

Questions and answers

Does the calculator confirm vehicle fitment?

No. It compares geometry only; approved tire and wheel sizes must be checked against vehicle documentation.

What does the diameter percentage difference mean?

It is the relative change in the new tire’s overall diameter compared with the original tire.

When it is useful
