How the calculation works
Enter the required parameters and submit the form. The calculator validates the values, performs the calculation on the server and returns a detailed result.
The calculation is processed for the current HTTP request and does not require registration.
Tile quantity and package calculation
Required area including reserve is divided by one tile area. Tile count and package count are rounded up to purchasable whole quantities.
Example
For layouts with more cutting, increase the reserve percentage and the calculator will apply it to the full covered area.
Questions and answers
Why is the purchase quantity rounded up?
Partial tiles or packages usually cannot be purchased, so procurement quantities must be whole numbers.
How much reserve should I use?
The calculator does not prescribe one value; reserve depends on layout, cuts and room geometry.
